Merseyside Woman of the Year 2017 - Healthcare Hero - ADDvanced Solutions Community Network

Some exciting news to share with everyone.

In June this year ADDvanced Solutions Community Network were nominated for the Merseyside Woman of the Year 2017 Healthcare Hero Award. This was a huge honour for us as the nomination was made by parents who access our service and we were extremly humbled by this action and believe that this was one of the best evaluations we as providers of a service could ever have asked for.

We were shocked to find that we had made it through to the final and had been invited to join others nominees at a finalist event where we would be able to meet past and potential winners and gain some advice and tips and share stories.  

On Friday 30th June 2017 we put on our best dresses, combed our hair and set off to the Merseyside Woman of the Year Award ceremony in the Crown Plaza Hotel Liverpool, as finalists in what we recognised was very stiff competition within this catagory, with some amazing inspirational woman offering some amazing and inspirational work accross the City. We never for one moment believed we could ever win this award at times kept pinching ourselves how we ever even got nominated let alone expected families to vote for us.

When our name was called we were in total shock and very emotional as our video (click the image below) shows.

Thank you so much for everyone who voted for us, you don't know how much this means to us and hopfully shows we are on the right track in supporting families accross the North West
