Neurodevelopmental Condition Awareness Raising training - Down Syndrome Liverpool

13th June 2017

Down Syndrome Liverpool would like to send a huge thank you to Vanda Reeves and Sarah Chierico from ADDvanced Solutions and Ruth Kiley for running a fabulous course for our parents and carers on Saturday. The course was to raise awareness on Neurodevelopmental Conditions with a particular focus on Sensory Processing Difficulties. We spent a really interesting and informative day with around 45 people in attendance, not bad for a rainy Saturday! Feedback from attendees was really positive and we all learnt so much, it really was invaluable - thank you! X

Here are just some of the comments we received:

Thank you for organising another fab course today, I've learnt a lot, it's reassuring to make sense of certain behaviours & have strategies to deal with this in the future. Xx

Thank you, DSL, for a great day.

It was well organised and a valuable topic for insight, understanding into our children's experiences and day to day challenges.
