Professional Awareness Training Neurodevelopmental Conditions

15th May 2017

This year through our professional Neurodevelopmental Awareness training, we have been able to reach a wide range of professionals from across, Health, Education, Youth Justice and CJS, Early years, DWP and a range of local third sector organisations providing specialist care for and supporting the needs of the families they work with who live with a child or young person with a Neurodevelopmental condition.

We have been fortunate to be able to come together regularly to share experiences, knowledge, information and skills with many professionals who work with the families who access our offer.

The wide range of professionals’ accessing the Awareness training, has given us the opportunity to develop new partneships and relationships with organisations we previously had not had contact with, build upon our bank of information and resources based on what professionals have said is needed and share increased understanding together to provide parents and carers with the best outcomes for themselves and their children.

We have delivered our Neurodevelopmental Conditions Awareness training both across Liverpool and St Helens and have developed lots of new relationships and made lots of new friends along the way who we hope to continue to work with in the near future.
