Supporting Warrington

Families in Warrington living with neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism spectrum disorders / conditions, ADHD and sensory processing difficulties will be able to access new funded support from 07/02/2019.

Provided by ADDvanced Solutions Community Network, support will include a Neurodevelopmental Conditions Family Learning Programme - a structured learning programme that equips parents, carers and supporters with skills, knowledge and confidence enabling them to recognise, understand and meet the needs of their family.  This learning programme will be delivered throughout Warrington.

Our Community Network Group will also help parents and carers who have concerns about their child's behaviour or progress at home or school. These open-access, informal weekly workshops and solution focused drop in sessions are designed to support families regardless of what stage they’re at – from pre, during and post-diagnosis of a neurodevelopmental condition. 

The Community Network Groups will take place weekly, at Sandy Lane Children's Centre, Sandy Lane, Orford, WA2 GHY, every Thursday during term time from 12.45pm-2.45pm, with family days out taking place during the school holidays.

It’s not just adults ADDvanced Solutions support, The ND and Me is a learning programme which has been developed for children and young people aged 11 -14  and 15 -18 to help them to:  • Better understand and manage themselves • Identify and make the right choices • Develop social skills to make friends & maintain friendships • Keep themselves safe.

For children and young people whose parents have completed the ND conditions Family Learning Programme.

We are delighted to be offering our services to families and professionals in Warrington.  Living with a neurodevelopmental condition can be very isolating, and challenging. We not only give families the tools and skills but the supportive network from other families to enable them to share experiences and manage the day to day challenges.
