Our Community Network Groups are delivered by a team of professionals who bring genuine insight and understanding from supporting their own families living with Neurodevelopmental conditions. Each week we have a different workshop that supports the difficulties that families can face on a daily basis.
The topic for discussion this week is about Specific Learning Difficulties
This week our information workshop is about how a specific learning difficulty can impact on how your child / young person takes in information and retains that information. A specific learning difficulty can co-exsist with ASD and ADHD and can have a huge impact on academic learning - We will be looking at the different specific learning difficulties and some teaching strategies to support them.
Come along and meet other parent carers and ask any questions you may have and identify strategies that work.
Each session at Belle Vale is on a Tuesday 9.30am - 11.30am during term time. Come along no need to book this session is open access
