Our Community Network Groups are delivered by a team of professionals who bring genuine insight and understanding from supporting their own families living with Neurodevelopmental conditions. Each week we have a different workshop that supports the difficulties that families can face on a daily basis.
The topic for discussion this week is about Girls and Autism Spectrum Disorder / Condition (ASD/C)
This week our information workshop is all about Girls and ASD/C. How they present very differently than boys and how their behaviours can sometimes be percieved and mental health difficulties. We will be discussing how girls can mask their chrateristics and minic others to be socially accepted.
Come along meet others experiencing similar difficulties and ask any questions you may have and identify strategies that work.
Each session at Huyton is on a Wednesday 9.30am - 11.30am during term time. Come along no need to book this session is open access.
