Our Community Network Group is for parents and carers and is delivered by a team of professionals who bring genuine insight and understanding from supporting their own families living with Neurodevelopmental conditions. Each week we have a different workshop that supports the difficulties that families can face on a daily basis.
The topic for discussion this week is about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
This week our information workshop is about ADHD, how it impacts on children and young people and how hyperactivity, impulsivity and inattention can sometimes present as 'behaviour'. We will also be looking at the diagnostic criteria and strategies to support the difficulties that can present.
Come along and meet other parent carers and ask any questions you may have and identify strategies that work.
