Our Community Network Groups are delivered by a team of professionals who bring genuine insight and understanding from supporting their own families living with Neurodevelopmental conditions. Each week we have a different workshop that supports the difficulties that families can face on a daily basis.
The topic for discussion this week is about Preparing for the Christmas Holidays.
The festive season can be overwhelming for our children and young people. We will identify ways to help manage this very busy time.
We will also finish our last session of the year with some craft activities and a mince pie too.
Come along and ask any questions you may have and identify strategies that work.
Whilst parents and carers access the Community Network group, children with neurodevelopemtnal conditions and their siblings - between the age of 5 - 12 can access the childrens activities, which include, LEGO, circus skills, board games, cookery, arts and crafts, which help to better support social and communication skills, turn taking and motor co-ordination difficulties.
