This commissioned training has been developed to provide an awareness and understanding of the day-to-day challenges of living with neurodevelopmental conditions (NDCs) and the surrounding issues for staff working to support children, young people and families in Liverpool, to enable them to:
• Understand the difference and similarities between ADHD, ASD/C, and other NDCs.
• Recognise the typical behaviours of ADHD, ASD/C and other NDCs
• Recognise the impact that unsupported and unmanaged characteristics of NDCs can have on an individual and their family.
• Understand the impact that sensory processing difficulties have on children and young people.
• Recognise local support available for professionals, young people and families who have children with NDCs
