Cathy our qualified Keep Fit instructor will be demonstrating a range of low impact exercises focusing on a total body workout. Using various exercises targeting legs bums and tums incorporating some Pilates. These routines will improve fitness, strength, stamina and posture and overall wellbeing.
These activities are intended as a fun, family activity only. We are offering this as we cannot offer our face to face family activities in this current climate; we hope you and your family enjoy them.
Please remember that before starting any exercise programme, we recommend you consult your family GP/appropriate medical practitioner to ensure these activities are suitable for you and your family.
This is particularly true if you (or your family) have a history of high blood pressure or heart disease, or if you have experienced chest pain when exercising or have experienced chest pain in the past month when not engaged in physical activity, have recently had surgery or on medication that could affect balance and co-ordination, smoke, have high cholesterol, are obese or have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by a change in physical activity.
Do not start if your GP advises against it. If you experience faintness, dizziness, pain or shortness of breath at any time while exercising you should stop immediately and seek advice from a health care professional.
