Preparing for the Future Learning Programme – Online
Enabling parents and carers of neurodivergent young people (11 – 18), diagnosed or not, to encourage independence, think about education and employment opportunities and navigate their approach to adulthood.
Delivered with inspiring lived experience examples and a focus on positive practical strategies.
It will be delivered across across 6 evening sessions 6.30pm – 8.30pm, supporting and empowering parents and carers with information and strategies around:
- Planning for transition
- Supporting independence
- Reasonable adjustments and SEND
- Further education and employment
- Independent living
- Community inclusion
- Relationships
- Good health and wellbeing
- Local provision and services.
