Supporting Families in Halton

We are pleased to announce that from 19^th April 2021, families and professionals in Halton can access support for those with neurodevelopmental conditions (pre, during and post-diagnosis), such as autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and specific learning difficulties from the team at ADDvanced Solutions Community Network.  

Our Halton pilot offer includes our Neurodevelopmental Conditions Family Learning Programme, a structured learning programme that equips parents, carers and supporters with skills, knowledge and confidence enabling them to recognise, understand and meet the needs of their family.  

We will also deliver our open access Community Network group which is a discussion based informal learning opportunity, delivered each Monday afternoon during term time at 1:00pm. Each session is chosen by those who attend the group and will include sessions such as an Introduction to ADHD, SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability) Jargon Buster, Supporting Communication Difficulties and ND Conditions and Anxiety.

The Community Network group will initially be delivered online, and as soon as we possibly can we will identify the most appropriate venue to meet you all face to face. The first session will start on Monday 10^th May, to join please call the office for your meeting link

The frontline team at ADDvanced Solutions Community Network have backgrounds in health, social care and education but most importantly they have family members with the same conditions we can help you and your families with.

Our professionals learning workshops offer those working with families in Halton the skills, knowledge and confidence to better support the families they work with.

We are delighted to be offering our services to families and professionals in Halton.  Living with a child with a neurodevelopmental condition can be very isolating, and challenging. We not only give families the tools and skills but the supportive network from other families to enable them to share experiences and manage the day to day challenges.
