Preparing for Adulthood Learning Programme – Online
The programme is for parents and carers in Knowsley, St Helens and Warrington whose young person (11+) is awaiting assessment.
It will be delivered across across 6 evening sessions 6.30pm – 8.30pm, supporting and empowering parents and carers with information and strategies around:
- Planning for transition
- Supporting independence
- Reasonable adjustments and SEND
- Further education and employment
- Independent living
- Community inclusion
- Relationships
- Good health and wellbeing
- Local provision and services.
Across 6 Wednesday evenings 6.30pm – 8.30pm – Wednesday 26th February, Wednesday 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th March and Wednesday 2nd April 2025
